We have ordered twice. The first time was too spivey for my kids and the owner mentioned that he could make it mild if we asked in the comments. We have then a second chance and asked for mild, but it was even spicier than last time. The flavor is very good, but we were disappointed that our kids couldn't eat the food. However, the manager phoned us later that evening &, when he heard this, he was extremely apologetic & sent us a complimentary meal the following night. I have never had a reason to complain about them, but last night I was very disappointed. With my food I ordered one Sapporo draught beer. What I got is a mystery. My beer was in a plastic takeaway cup. I don't know if it was Sapporo and it was flat and tasteless. WTF?

fortunately the food is not kind of crap.....i ordered a tandoori button and 1/2 a tandoori chicken....when i was half way eating my deal....luckly i found i piece of 1.2cm x 8mm hard plastic in my motton tandoori.....i was while watching television and eating in dinner.....if i don't saw it from my eyes....what would you think it would happen?just give em a feedback...

The food and delivery are great; we order from here often. I know the owner is very concerned about customer service and that's admirable, but we wish he'd stop calling after every order to check on things! Sometimes he calls quite late and wakes us up.

All my orders so far at Baba's kitchen had been fulfilled efficiently! What I appreciated most is the feedback call from the owner asking about the quality of the food. This is a very important aspect of customer service :) The food is no doubt delicious and always hot on delivery. Especially love their papadum, dip it in the curry is the best way to devour them!

In regards to change, I had indicated on your website that I only had a 500d note to pay with. However when the delivery guy showed up he didn't have any change. It was all sorted out in the end but please make sure that this info gets through to the restaurant.

We've used this website multiple times and have ordered from Baba's Kitchen before. The food was excellent quality, steaming hot and really tasty. The food was also delivered on time by a very friendly delivery guy. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will certainly be ordering from them again!

We ordered the Kerala Fish Fry and were a bit disappointed that it does not actually come in a sauce as described. It's good if dieting though! Food arrived a bit cold but follow up call was very helpful and recompense offered for our next order.

Taste-wise, the flavors/textures are sometimes inconsistent, but at the same time it's always good, if that makes sense. The management calls afterwards to check if everything was ok. I am a regular customer and I've never left feedback before so here I am. The food is very tasty, even though it can be a bit spicy if you're not used to. The menu has been extended recently. It's very consistent, that's why I like that place. The service is excellent, the driver always comes earlier and the manager calls you later to check if everything is okay.

The restaurant said they would deliver at 7.04 but they delivered at almost 8pm. I think it is better to give an accurate estimate of delivery time. 15 mins error either way is ok. ( one hour behind is not helpful)I think the lasso was not quitefresh. I got sick last night. I was disappointed in the taste and standard of the food- except The Marsala Dosa was authentic.

It would be great if there was a mobile friendly version of the site or a mobile app. 2. This is a wonderful service. I'm new to Saigon and found out by accident. I ordered a Goa fish curry and asked for it to be made much less spicy than previously. When it arrived it had 3 large red chillies and was burning hot. I asked them to send another milder one, but when it arrived it was exactly the same- far, far too hot. I really like spicy food and have had babas since it opened, but each dish has been getting more and more spicy, ruining the food. What a shame

I purchased the North and South Indian Lunch Special. It came 15 minutes early. 5 stars for that. 5 stars for the chicken northern lunch. I wouldn't order the chicken southern lunch special again though, too many vegetables for me. I'm sure others would love it. First time order we have ordered from Babas kitchen. The Goa fish curry was sublime (I mean really good!). The mutton was also really good although we were not very impressed with the flavour of the daal. Raita was good. Leftovers are in the fridge. Can't wait to get back into them tonight! The korma was disappointing. Not much flavour to it. All the dishes seemed to have too much oil from the ghee they cook with. The papadoms were also quite small and all broken. Usually you get an extra one. The vindaloo and aubergine dish were very tasty though. Not bad- but improvements can be made. Too much ghee is a sign of lazy cooking as it stops the food sticking when you aren't stirring.

We did not receive whole menu. However we phoned restaurant directly to deliver it or fund back fee. Shop officer promised to deliver it 8:40pm but still nothing happened yet. I think taste of food is ok but salads is not washed enough. This is the worst experience.

asked for NO SPICE on one dish and it arrived spicier than it is normally. delivery took over 1 hour and the taste overall was not up to scratch.

Wow what an amazing place! The restaurant gave me a courtesy call to find out if i had enjoyed the meal. I told them that the food was very good except I felt the the bindi (okra) masala was slightly over cooked. 24 hours later I get another call from the restaurant offering me a complimentary bindi masala as a thanks for my comments. True Indian Hospitality in Vietnam! Enjoy

I had a huge order, and all the food was excellent. Baba's helped me out with extra plates and napkins. The food stayed very hot, and the samosas were awesome as always.

The food was good, and the restaurant called to apologize for a mistake on the delivery time email, but when the delivery man arrived he came into the house uninvited and after i paid, tried to get more money from me for his parking (this was after I'd given him a 30,000 tip). I liked the food bit probably won't order delivery again because of this driver.

I appreciate this service whole-heartedly as I was contacted before by VN-MM & also after I finished my dinner, BABA'S KITCHEN called me to know about my opinion. All the items were delivered properly & hot. I enjoyed the food & felt very happy with this service.

Why is it that ALL Indian restaurants in HCMC are consistently LATE with delivery?? They will say 7:30 and show up at 8:30! I have only had this experience with Indian food restaurants and they all seem to be the same...
